Magal began as an independent craft shop, and in 2011 it switched to a limited liability company. The business premises are on the surface of 1000m², and the annual production is over a million pieces of anodes, with a wide range of sizes, diameters and weights.
Our business is based on continuous satisfaction and trust, both of our customers and suppliers, as well as of our employees.
The combination of expertise and experience in the field of metallurgy of magnesium and in the production itself are a guarantee for the quality of our products. That’s why we are doing our utmost to follow both the development of new technologies and the use of new raw materials and materials.
Magal is the leader in the production of Mg anodes on the domestic market. It exports its products to many different countries, EU members, CEFTA, EFTA and Eurasia.
We have the ISO 9001: 2015 certificate and meet all the standards that follow and confirm the quality of our products.
Management and all employees are fully focused on the application of regulations, standards and norms in line with the company’s quality policy, with the aim of constantly raising the quality of products.
Our products have been verified by the Laboratory of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy from the University in Belgrade, including other laboratories for the examination of chemical sources of electricity, as well as the laboratory of the Institute for Public Health Belgrade.
In addition, we have achieved long-term cooperation with the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Technology and Metallurgy (IC TMF), with the aim of creating new processes and innovations in technology.

Production process
Much engineering experience in magnesium metallurgy, the use of adequate materials and raw materials with the application of casting technology, while strictly adhering to the prescribed standards, ensures a high production result and excellent product quality.
The production process is carried out by gravity casting in molds. Anodes are made from magnesium alloy AZ63 of chemical composition according to EN12438 standard (symbol EN-MAMgAl6Zn3, number EN-MA21150). The poured pieces are cooled in a controlled manner, after which they are machined all the way to the desired finished product.
Application of anodes, defines the dimension, shape and quantity of metals, and thus defines the design, shape and construction of molds for anode casting. Therefore, in the process of producing cast magnesium anodes, the weight of a metal per product ranges from several tens of grams to several kilograms.
During the various technological processes, continuous visual and instrumental control of products according to DIN 4753 is performed in every part, which results in a product of high quality.
